new home port for houseboat 1 Month, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
Hello,my family and I bought a gibson houseboat last winter. We docked it in Urbanna Va this past season. We enjoyed Urbanna but the stinging nettles were a real nuisance. We live in Richmond and go to the boat on the weekends. Can anyone suggest a new location to dock the boat . We would like to stay somewhere along the bay or a tributary where the jellyfish are not so bad. We want the new location to be 2 hrs or less from Richmond. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you in advance

Welcome Mike. Having never been in your area I can't help. Hope somebody chimes in. In our area jelly fish come and go. Some years are significantly worse than others. Have never been given a good explanation why this happens.
