MONTICELLO, KY. -- Stardust Yachts, formerly Stardust, is under new ownership and management effective June 2007.  The new management team will be led by Chief Operations Officer Shawn Bell.  Bell has been at the helm of the sales team for Stardust Yachts over the past 18 years and will contribute the financial management and boating expertise needed to maintain a strong presence in the boating industry. 

As a part of the Stardust Yachts team over the past 18 years, I have had the opportunity to grow with the organization."  Bell said.  "I will use this knowledge and experience to lead the Stardust Yachts team as we continue to provide our customers superior service, innovative and creative interior design options, state-of-the-art products and efficient production time."

 

Stadust Yachts, known as one of the premier custom houseboat and coastal cruiser builders in the industry, has been based in Monticello, Ky since 1985.  Its unique production facility houses a custom all wood cabinetry and wood workshop, a custom fiberglass shop and a spacious interior design center. 

 

Stardust Yachts has produced over 1,450 custom-designed aluminum hull boats ranging from 14x40 feet to 22 x 125 feet.  These boats have been shipped to customers both nationally and internationally. 

 

Stardust Yacht's engineering department continues to develop state-of-the-art designs includng the optional integral metal cabin framework, the newly designed arch and the Euro Roof. 

 

Stardust Yachts will target customer houseboats and continue to expand internationally by producing CE certified boats for sale in the European market.  Over the last decade, Stardust Yachts was the only company to export a houseboat overseas for sale.  Stardust Yachts plans to continue to expand the international dealer network.

 

Under the new management the Stardust Yachts team will continue to build custom houseboats, ocean yachts, catamarans, coastal cruisers, and river cruisers.
