REDESIGNED ICE MAKER COMBINES FORM AND FUNCTION PDF Print E-mail

Raritan Icemaker
Raritan Icemaker
Ice is often considered an absolute necessity while underway.  With a new, streamlined door, flush mount option and ergonomic door handle, the redesigned Icer-Ette from Raritan offers more unique features than ever before.  Developed specifically for marine applications, the enhanced ice maker complements surrounding décor while producing up to 22 lbs. of crescent-shaped ice per day.

With two sizes, several door panel colors and extensive trim options available, the sleek Icer-Ette can be customized to match any boat's interior design.  The standard 85 model fits under normal counter spaces and measures 24"H x 14"W x 14-1/2"D without trim.  At 18-3/8"H x 14"W x 22-1/4"D and a base height of 12-3/4" without trim, the 84 version is ideal for shorter but deeper spaces, such as those found on an aft deck or helm seat.

The contemporary door swings open within the width of the Icer-Ette's cabinet, reducing the installation space needed.  Door panels are simple to remove and replace.  Starboard King Board, at 1/4" thick, fits easily into the frame.  Doors can be hinged to open either left or right.

Providing a comfortable grip, the user-friendly door handle supplies smooth, intuitive operation.  Ensuring a tight seal and securing the door shut, a positive latching feature engages automatically when the door is closed and releases when the handle is pulled.  For ventilation and defrosting, a handy prop, built into the handle, holds the door open.  The durable handle is constructed from a high-impact, UV-resistant engineered polymer.  It needs no additional space above the unit.

Quick and simple to install and maintain, the convenient Icer-Ette offers easier access to components and requires no drain.  With a new, low-profile flush installation option, the unit blends into its surroundings.

A removable ice bucket stores 11 lbs. of ice.  With automatic operation, the

state-of-the-art Icer-Ette halts ice production when the bucket is full.  Unlike plastic, the durable aluminum door frame and stainless steel grille do not fade or discolor over time.  Manufactured for the harsh marine environment, the unit is constructed from the highest-quality marine-grade, non-corrosive components and hardware.  The compressor features a 5-year warranty.

Environmentally-friendly, the ice maker uses a completely CFC-free refrigerant with an ozone depletion rating of zero.  An innovative magnetic door gasket ensures a tight seal for more efficient operation.  Available in 120 VAC, 60 HZ and 240 VAC, 50 HZ, it is UL, CE and C-Tek listed.

UPS shippable, the stylish Icer-Ette ice maker from Raritan retails for around $1,670.  Built-in trim kits are also available.

The most dependable name on the water, Raritan assembles each Icer-Ette by hand.  They are individually tested and backed by Raritan's one-year limited warranty and renowned technical support team.  Raritan offers a wide range of superior marine products, including toilets, water heaters and cleaning and maintenance accessories.
