Battery problem 3 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi - I have noticed that recently my main cabin battery is running out of water at an alarming rate. I have to fill it ith almost 2 liters of water almost daily. Last summer I had to refill it more than usual, just because of the heat here in AZ - but filling once a day seems excessive. What can be causing this? The other 2 batteries seem fine and don't need this much refilling. We obviously use our cir conditioners a lot, but I still don't think this should matter. Thanks in advance for any info.

Need more information. Size and type of battery, Brand and capacity of charger. Do you have an inverter system, How old is the battery?

How do you think your AC has anything to do with your battery as it runs off shore power or generator.

Normally a battery uses water when being recharged at too high a rate or when it needs replacement.

Are all cells useing the same amount of water or just 1 or 2. Is the battery hot?
