Is their any type of kit or distributor drop in(Pertronix ?) to convert my 318 Chrysler to electronic ignition?? Thanks....TPN

I checked several sources and found no "drop in" conversion for my ca. 1973 Chrysler LM318s. I have just purchased Sierra 18-5497-1 electronic distributors and new coils, wires, and plugs. I did a similar conversion on old Mercruisers and it made a huge difference in starting and performance.

Chrysler made electonic ignition for 318s, but I have been told that it is not near as good as the modern replacements.

CRANE MAKES AN IGNITION CALLED THE FIREBALL THAT I HAVE USED AND LOVED IT.
