We had a propane 'instant' water heater in our travel trailer when I was a child, half a century ago, and it was wonderful. Enough hot water for everybody, and I do mean HOT. So what brand is yours? Where do I find another one?

I'd like to see some statistics supporting that 'no propane appliances in use while docked' rule. On the face of it it sounds just plain superstitious and silly. Not that an out-of-control dock fire wouldn't be catastrophic, but do the nannies run around squirting fire extinguishers at cigarette smokers and mosquito-repellant coils? I don't believe I've ever heard of a housefire caused by a gas stove or waterheater. Now, tipped-over electric space heaters, bad wiring, and other electrical malfunctions, that's a different story. Maybe they should add a rule forbidding electrical devices...just to be really really safe.
