Hey Whitcraft50,

No, mine is actually a fiberglass hull. I'm quite impressed with the conditoion and thickness. I've got two Chrysler, slant six, 235's in the back with Volvo out drives. Basically, I'm well beyond the restoration idea and well into the remodeling deal.

Thanks for the bode of confidence with regards to the tanks. My three look in new condition which is to me, astounding, just because Its been sitting out of the water, uncovered (thankfully in the open away from trees), for 10 years now. The only thing I plan to do is to cut into the new floor, three hinged doors above each tank.... just in case.

I was slow to act so I just thought I would wait till the winter time to remove the toilet and poop pot when any contents will be well frozen as to not slosh about .....especially on me. My plan is to completely modernize this boat complete with a Vacu-Flush sys to a float by wire throttle and shift sys, to a self sustainable power sys, to paint etc. It is so cool to imagine something and then poof, there it is, relatively. If all goes well, it should be back in the water next Aug. My only stickler that I'm having is with the A/C! Damn it!! Technology hasn't yet made it possible for me to get away with out a fuel generator. For the cabin space, it is calculated that I'll require a 24k btu unit. (all the windows) Just can't find the components to assemble a reasonable system. Hopefully in a couple of years, some new developments will call for a retro fit.

Arizona!?!?!??! Wow. Great weather I'll bet albeit HOT but land locked unless you trailer.

Hey, do you know of any owners clubs or groups?
