have heard that yuo need to put a pvc sleve in the stand pipe for the toliets if you use a purisan because the chemical wil over time eat the aluminum .

do you have a seel or aluminum hull. it would seem to me that there would be enough water in the stand pie to delute any chemical that would be there , is that you thoughts

It's a good idea to do it - the discharge gets diluted pretty quickly in the water, so it shouldn't be a problem from the outside of the boat. From the inside, if the standpipe will be empty all the time, it shouldn't be a problem there, either. But it never hurts to be on the safe side, and adding a sleeve isn't really very difficult to do at all.

any sugestiond on how to do it with out sinking the boat
tried once the stand is above thewaterline but when diasconnceted the hose water started comming in quickly
