The oven on my boat does not work, however 2 of the burners function. Any ideas why the oven is not working?

Could be a variety of reasons..from failed heating elements to corroded connections. Electric stoves, whether in a house or on a boat, are pretty much all the same. Sears or any other appliance service who services stoves should be able to diagnose the problem...but they may not have the parts. You'll prob'ly have to order 'em from the stove mfr.

Like Peggy says, electric stoves are pretty simple. Make sure ALL power to it is off from the circuit breaker panel before you do anything. I would think most likely that the oven element is bad, but it could also be a bad connection. Alot of times they used crimped stab on type of connections and they corrode and become a high resistance connection then that connection gets hot and burns the wire. So i'd look for any burnt wire signs wherever there is a connection and you can check the elements with a ohm meter. Just remove the element and measure between the two connection points if you get a low reading, then you are OK and most likely the problem is in the wiring. If you get a high reading or infinite reafing then the element is bad. A lot of theses stoves had a switch that allows you to select the power to go to the range top or the oven but not both at the same time, that switch could be bad after years of use, also a lot of these stoves had a saftey switch that prevented power from going to the unit if the lid was down over the burners, if yours is the type that has a cover that covers the burners when the unit is not in use I'd check to make sure that the switch is ok, I'm guessing if you have it that it probably is since you say you get power to two burners.
