I get around quite a bit and need a ship that can keep up. I need something I can live in and take across the pacific or atlantic twice a year. Any suggestions?

Your in the wrong place. Houseboats are for protected waters. Suggest you go to your browser and type in offshore cruising or passage making. Heres a start.
