Boatkeeping is the place for new boat owners to ask "how does it work?"
and "what should I do?" (There are NO stupid questions...we were all
beginners once)... It's the place for experienced boat owners to share
solutions to common problems and ideas that make life aboard easier and
more fun.

It's about all the issues of spending time aboard and afloat--especially
especially those that have to do with the waters we float in, boating
laws--especially marine sanitation laws, safety issues,environmental
issues, and especially my particular speciality: sanitation and plumbing
problems and getting rid of pesky odors.

However, this isn't the place to talk about engines, generators,
outdrives, fiberglass repair and detailing, fishing, boat dealers, used
boat values, surveyors, politics or where you went on your last cruise.
We have other forums for those topic. But if you do accidentally post
something that doesn't belong here, we won't make you walk the plank,
we'll just move it or delete it.
