About a year ago, Richard and I purchased a 1966 Seagoing Marine Houseboat.  At that time we had NO CLUE about houseboats, much less old, steel hull types.  Since then we have been very busy "totally gutting and renovating the interior"!!  It was definately a challenging experience to say the least.  We have done all the work ourselves and tried to save as much $$$ as possible by being creative with materials. We love this old boat and have come to enjoy the time we spend continuing the renovation.  Painting the exterior and new blue canvas sides is our upcoming project. I'll post some before and after photos.  Any ideas out there would be greatly appreciated.  Judith
