Hello the group. As I finish my 40' Riverqueen and plan to move aboard, something came to mind. What about lightening? Does one stay safely aboard during a thunder storm, or does one have to head for the high country when one passes through. East Tennessee springtimes have lots of thunderstorms, so this could be a real issue. What is the consensus of the group please? Thanks in advance

Lightning hits boats about as often as it hits houses. If you have the steel cabin RQ your about as safe as you can be because the charage will be carried around the exterior of the boat.
