Teddy, my hull number reads BMF###, Muscle Shoal Al. I'm not sure where the BCI comes from but thats not what mine says. Good luck.

According to an online source on burnscraft Forum posted 22 Jan., '06 you can find some history in you HID#

Example: BMF500400875 ( My boat ) Burns Mfg. 50 feet long--040th boat built -- 08th month--- '75

I hope this helps, [i]50burnscraft

Louisiana does not have boat _title_s but registrations through the State Wild Life and Fisheries. You need to check for your state's requirements 50burnscraft

Keith, I haven't seen an answer to your original question about two sets of electrical breakers. No doubt, they're for the two electrical systems on the boat: 1) AC (shore power) system, and 2) DC (12 volt battery-powered) system.

Both systems are independent of one another, and will have their own sets of breakers. AC system will be some of the lighting, washing machine, dryer, water heater, etc. DC system will be other lighting, spot lights, anchor winch, bilge pumps, engine accessories, bilge blowers, electric head, bow and stern thrusters, etc.
