Hi, I'm planning a houseboat trip with a few friends, and we've narrowed our trip down to either going to Lake Cumberland or Green River Lake. Many of the houseboating rental companies provide limited pictures and layouts of the boats, so its been hard for us to make a decision on which boat to rent. _base_d on the information available, we've narrowed it down to State Dock (Lake Cumberland) and Green River Marina (Green River).

What we'd like to see are some rental reviews & reviewer pictures to get a better feel for the boats and rental companies. Any insights into where we might find reviews / pictures, or any direct insights regarding these 2 rental companies would be greatly appreciated!

Call the companies, ask them for references and/or updated pictures. With digital cameras it's easy for them to send current pictures of any of their boats. Inside and out.

Haven't heard much about Green river rental boats.

But some family and friends rent from state dock every year.

There have been issues a time or two on things breaking down but they
are very quick to come out and fix any problems. They are very
friendly people at state dock.
