I'm thinking about getting a houseboat, mainly because house prices in the uk are outrageous but also because I've always liked the idea.
I do have a doubt though....... I'm a musician and I'm not sure whether my double bass is likely to fit in one of these things! Anyone out there got any advice for me?

I'm Ernest T. Bass, and I fit very comfortable on my houseboat pal, you must be my mommy's side of faamily, are you my kin folk from away in teterville, of course you can put a bass on a houseboat, we bass's come in ner a houseboat many ole times boy, if you get some time call your mommy and wish hello, you here,

Peter, you'll have plenty of room, just keep shopping for the right size, perhaps visit the expo show feb-march 2003. that's ernest is a funny guy, he means well, I met him sometime ago at a show, he's a genuine character and a nice guy.So peter I hope everything works out for you, see you at the show. bye bye

I suppose I could always turn my bass into a little boat, there'd robably be room for some bongos in there, and a small stove.
