Does anyone out there know the weight of a Yukon Delta houseboat 29' long with a four cylender valvo Penta I/O drive. I need to build a trailer and need to know what axles to use.The boat is a Sedan Cruser if that makes any difference.
Thanks Ray Miles

Go to the library and look up your boat in the used boat prices book,it usually includes the weight of the boat.Harry

I just sold a brougham bridger (yukon delta) 29 ft, it is on a trailer with 14 in wheels, two 3500 lb axles, factory trailer, axle will fex some as boat weight is 5200 lbs, with 1.6 sea drive. If you go with 5000 lb axles and 15 in tires you will a little higher and should use lighter springs, as not to put too mch stress on boat. you could find a 25 to 30 foot travel trailer _frame_, weld channel on top for the chins to ride and to stiffen the _frame_ should be alot cheaper the going from get go. The factory trailers were travel trailer _frame_ with few additions. If I can be of any help, as this is my second yukon product, hope this help you.....GR

For boat weight and motor sizes for any boat go to this site... http://www.nadaguides.com/ At the site, click on boats toward the top of page (it looks like a blue folder tab), this will take you to where you click on boats (again) under pricing. This will take you to an alphabet; click on Y and on the new page scroll down to Yukon Delta. Click on the year you have.
Yes, it is a pain, but at least you get a weight and motors that were offered for that year.

Greg...

If you were able to get a copy of the Yukon manual...please let me know

I have a 1976 31 foot Yukon Delta and always enjoy seeing pictures of decorating and retrofitting of same.
