I am a first time owner of a 40' houseboat. Could anyone please give me the rule of thumb for how long before repainting fiberglass bottom hull?

any where from 3 to 5 years provided you used a good paint and you have no blisters.....thats another story.

Thanks. This boat has been in the water for 6 years. For what good it does I have felt under the bottom in many places and no blisters or bumps. Bottom paint still looks good after wiping algae away.
