My wife and I are considering living abord a houseboat after retirement somewhere on a southeastern navigable (freshwater) waterway - Tennessee, Ohio, Mississippi river, etc. We know little about the area. Can anyone help us?

THE TENNESSEE RIVER IS GODS COUNTRY FOR HOUSEBOATERS. WE LIVEABOARD AT JOE WHEELER STATE PARK MARINA IN ALABAMA. THIS IS A DESTINATION PORT FOR THE AREA AND ITS "OUTTASITE". WE HAVE GOLF, TENNIS, TRAILS, CAMPING, HOTEL, RESTURANT, POOL AND AN OUTSTANDING STAFF OF NICE PEOPLE RUNNING THE PLACE. COME DOWN AND SEE US.

Hi butch, did you sell the Aqua? I will be glad to clue you in on the Tenn, nothing on the Lower Miss except Mphs, quite a bit on the Cumberland, and Tenn. like Old houseboater says, plenty to do here. Shoot me an email and I will try to answer whatever you need to know.

Do You have a houseboat picked out yet? I have one for sale. Older boat but everything works and engines run great. Let me know if interested.
