I am interested in buying a houseboat for use year around in the metro NYC area (docking in Jersey likely) Can anyone tell me what I should be looking for when trying to find a houseboat or barge for cold climates? And, does anyone have info regarding Docks near NYC that still have slips for year-round use? Thanks you.
