1967 Seagoing 1 Year, 6 Months ago

After having sold her once, we now have our 1967 Seagoing houseboat back, a little worse for wear. Any and all help Seagoing owners can give about fixing up this gem would be appreciated. She is 32' x 11' with a 302 Chevy engine and Volvo Penta outdrive. One of the new additions will be a generator so we can spend nights away from shore power. Any ideas there? It would probably be a good idea to respond to my e-mail if you have lots of good ideas to share, don't want to take up everybody elses space. Thanks a bunch - D.

Don't have too many ideas yet, but my husband and I just bought a 1966 50' Seagoing. I haven't seen a lot of them and I've emailed a couple others. I think it would be interesting to keep in touch with other Seagoing owners. Chris

I see that I am not alone. I would greatly apreciate any information about Seagoing Houseboats also. What interstes me particularly is how does an older fibreglass boad hold together? I have found a 40 foot by 11 five and it needs complete refit. I would like to hear anything but my primary interest if I do this is to have a boat that will run very cost efficiently. Any ideas on how I can do this with all the things that are required to have a decent comfort zone. Engines, gensets, refrigeration, heat and airconditioning it all has to be there. In return I will share anything I find out!! thanks

John, also an old Seagoing owner, 32' 1969, Missouri River.
Any luck with those email addresses, got a mailing list of owners?
