We just purchased a 1963 Riverqueen. Are new to houseboats but not new to boating. Are there any querks common to the Riverqueen that we should be aware of? Should be painting next week. Mechanics seem ok? I think. May need appliances. Mostly cosmetic, we think. Would appreciate any input. Thank you!

1963 is about the oldest Riverqueen out there. Make sure you can get insurance before you start the project. I'm amazed that a RQ that old still exists. Would like to see pictures. Note the River Queen section below. OLD HOUSEBOATER38879.6425115741

1963 Riverqueen. 36 Feet. My even have original furniture.

Amazing. Does it have a ford engine with an Eaton outdrive, or a Chrysler with a Dana.
