I guess the first question to ask is - Have you put Kool Seal on the surface already?? If so you may have no option since most polyurethanes won't bond to it nor will fiberglass overcoats. If you haven't used anything on it I have found that polyurethanes work very well on properly prepared fiberglass- it is similiar to rhino lining on truck beds. It can be had in a variety of color. Sani Tread is one brand name Rot Doctor has a similiar product with more color choices. The stuff goes down with a roller and builds pretty well. It is very flexible and skid resistant. It was originally intended for industrial floors but it's uses have expanded in the last several years. I beleive Sherwin Williams offers a similiar product in it's industrial coatings line.

IF you can, stay away from Kool Seal paint or whatever it is. When I first applied it thought this was the trick, however after a few months it discolored from the original color and you could tell exactly where I put it down. I finally found that going to my local houseboat manufactuer they had roof gelcoat that I could buty for about $20.00/gallon. That did the trick. Good luck
