I have 56ft 1974 Lazy Days in need of paint. The paint is flaking in a lot of areas on the sides of the boat.

Do I need to sand the sides down to the bare aluminum?

If so, Is there any aircraft stripper I could use instead?

What is the best paint to use? Easypoxy??
