I have a 1979 Delta Clipper with twin Ford 351s.Has any one had luck replacing the output seal on there v-drive? I have pss shaft seals, so I believe I can disconect the shaft and slide it back with-out taking on water. How hard is it to remove the seal? I relise I will be standing on my head if it is possible at all. Any pictures or manuals available? The local boatyard wanted to pull the engine to do this. Big $$$.

Did you try transmission sealer? It softens the seals and can give you a few more years. I like TRANS MEDIC but there are a lot of others out there.

Hello,
How did the leaks on your Delta Clipper workout? I am eyeballing a 1978 43' Delta Clipper with twin 351's myself... would be our first houseboat. Can't find any info on it. Know nothing about v-drives... pros, cons etc. Would like advice or comments from anyone who knows.
Thanks BC
