Great my RQ is in the water but I still can't find Insurance to cover her? They either will not cover a steel hull or they say my RQ is to old. Could someone please point me in the right direction. I need an insurance company that will cover my RQ.

Do you have a current survey? Try Progressive.

Yes I do have a current survey but progessive said they can't touch a steel hull. Lets see if I can list the problems I have faced thus far. Steel Hull Too Old Not worth enough and many mant more brick walls that I have been hitting my head againist. So If some one out there has a RQ insured please give me a name of an insurance company so I can get mine covered!!!! I would like to enjoy her this summer. YES I DO BELIVE I AM LOSING MY MIND!!!!

Try State Farm. We've had our 1969 River Queen insured with them for several years.

State Farm also insures my 1963 steel Pluckebaum. The previous owner
was also insured by State Farm. You should have a survey done and
present it to the insurance co.

Hi there: We just bought a River Queen and I have found 2 companies that will insure. We have not gotten a survey yet, but this companywill insure for liability, etc., less the hull coverage.
Sales man Peter Shaw 800 828-1939. Quoted us $500 for above. $611 w/full coverage.
The other company is Boats USA 1800 283-2883 quoted around $724.

Farm Bureau, Farmers insurance group and boat US with sonic test.
