43’ Nautaline water in hull problem 2 Years, 11 Months ago Karma: 0
I own a 74 model 43' v-drive. My question is I keep ending up with anywhere from 2 to 5-6 gallons of water every 2 days or so in the hull underneath the closet by the bath (next to steps to lower level of the boat).  I once thought it to be the holding tank, I've eliminated that, and it does it with water on or off to the boat.  Just wondering if condensation might be an option, or if anyone else has had a similar problem.  Thanks in advance for your help.

Condensation is unlikely. You most likely have seepage (nice word for leak) thru the bottom of the boat or around a thruhull. Your sure about water tank leakage? We had one on Harbormaster that was a pin hole that took us a month to find.

You will have to dry everything out to the bone and then see where the water is coming from. This is not uncommon for Nautilines. In many cases the leak is in the hull. The only downside is that you have to pull the boat to do a proper repair.

You are probably right about the source of the leak.  I'm almost 100 percent sure it's not the waste holding tank, all of this is new, and i'm not using holding tanks for water.  The only other odd thing was the boat came from a covered slip where this was dry to an uncovered slip where it stays wet, but it doesn't matter rain or no rain, etc so more than likely it's probably a hole .  Thanks

i have a 76' that also leaks simular amounts in same time _frame_, it turned out to be leaking at one of my transducer sites. i resolved issue by sealing outside and inside during drydock. if you have'nt solved yet, maybe try this around all entry points?
