Pardon the intrusion. This past winter my wife purchased a Kingscraft Cruiser and we have gleaned a great deal of information from this forum since we knew nothing about Kingscraft boats. I did own a houseboat once - a steel Glen-L design that I built myself and cruised here in canada on the Rideau Canal.

The Kingscraft we own is now gutted and being rebuilt. If I can also help answer any members' questions _base_d on what I have found in our boat I will be pleased to do so. I am documenting with pictures.

I have built and rebuilt a number of boats including Chris Roamers and I have worked at a boatyard for a period of time and I have to say the Kingscraft is the best built boat I have ever worked on.

Kingscraft indeed was a well built boat, one of the leading houseboats in it era and in the present also. OHB has rebuilt several of them.

  Well I like to think I was part of that Quality Era when we built the Kings Craft boats. I still see one every now and then and it makes me proud to know they are still floating around. I have met some very nice people on this site and enjoy reading about the boats they are working on. thanks for letting me in.
