Hello to all.  I'm new to all of this.  My wife and I saw a show on the Travel Channel about houseboats and I was just fascinated by it all.  I would love to be able to do it sometime so I decided to start some research.  I came across this site and I think its the most complete when it comes to the houseboating world (hence the name I guess).

I aquired this boat off craigslist for free, all I had to do was move it.On 9-20-09 I contracted a mover and had it moved to my location($1200).The guy I got it from had it at his house and lost interest after doing all the hard work.He had removed the penta(I still have it and the outdrive for sale)and bought a new 5.7 merc with outdrive wich I can get cheap. He had rebuilt the transom, stringers bow to stern all except the smaller port and starboard ones wich I'm in the process of doing and the bulkheads were finished. He also supplied $500 worth of fiberglass and epoxy,20 new life jackets,3 anchors all the railing plus 2 new windows and a flybridge scavenged off another boat going to scrap. He did leave all the wiring in place and hard wired 110 to the panel to work on it.newer cabinets and cushions. All of the railing is off and the holes epoxied to keep water out this winter and only has 1 soft spot in the glass.Right now I'm just finishing getting out all the garbage(old soap and toiletries from the head and kitchen cabinets were full of old coozies and cheap wares ).Finished cutting and gring last 2 stringers so I can get them epoxied in before winter settles.pics up soon
