You really should keep them seperate so you can actually see them pee. They sometimes get pluged up with sand/muck and you have to poke them out.

Good point.

What would help me is just changing out the blue wing plugs in the block with some brass drain cocks. I think the Merc plugs are 1/2-13thread. Grainger has a bunch of drain cocks but they are all listed in NPT. Anyone know if there if one of the NPT threads will fit? I think my 5.0l blocks are basically GM 305 blocks.
